Science is a blast – we aim to have fun.
The Kostlab is interdisciplinary and comprises scientists with diverse backgrounds including ecologists, evolutionary biologists, microbiologists, theoretical biologists, chemists, as well as cell biologists. We provide a supportive working environment in which passionate scientists can freely perform innovative and curiosity-driven research to understand how Nature works.
We are always looking for highly motivated and creative students that share our interest in fundamental questions in ecology and evolution. If you’re interested in becoming a part of the lab, please contact Christian to inquire about possibilities.
Student helpers (HIWIs): The lab has a constant demand in students that help us with the currently ongoing research projects or teaching classes. Often this is also a great opportunity to learn more about the research that is being done in our group.
