Research interests
My research focusses on understanding how differences in metabolic network architecture shape metabolite secretion and microbial cooperation. A central goal of my work is to identify when and why metabolic trade-offs promote synergistic interactions between microbes. To address these questions, I use a combination of growth assays, metabolomics and metabolic modelling.
